WebI use the birds-eye view feature of Bing Maps daily to survey houses as part of my jobs. Their aerial views (birds-eye views at 45 degree angles) was far superior to Google Maps. I noticed today and maybe yesterday when I zoom in all the way the imagery disappears or my distance is limited.
