I have tried it in the past and it was only stinging failures :). i suggest you to firstly switch off the duplicated VM, disjoin the virtual drives and then export the duplicated VM , delete the duplicated VM. WebCloning a VM should allow you to trigger guest customization which really just runs sysprep.exe on the VM. This will generate a new SID and if I remember correctly will prompt you at boot for computer name/domain information.
