WebMy doctor reccomened OptiFer Alpha as a supplement that is supposed to be better on the digestive system but given that it only has 11 mg of elemental iron per tablet I'm kind of confused as to how such a low dose would help my iron levels get replenished in a timely manner given that my ferritin is at about a 9 right now.
