Webb29 apr. 2024 · I have a WD NAS, and sometimes I right click a file and choose "Move to Trash", a box pops up saying the file will be deleted immediately (and cannot be undone). So I thought I released the space. But later on, I found that the NAS actually has a folder called "Recycle Bin," and the deleted files are still there. Webb29 dec. 2024 · To retrieve a deleted file or folder from the Recycle Bin: Launch File Station and go to the shared folder with the Recycle Bin feature enabled. Go to the #recycle subfolder. Right-click on the file or folder to be retrieved. Go to Copy to/Move to… and select Move to… to restore the deleted file to the desired destination.

But if your old disk reads already partially corrupted data, I would consider a direkt copy as unreliable. If that is acceptable to you, why would this be obvious? Webb20 aug. 2024 · If the WD Backup Setup screen is closed or Backup Files is started on the new computer, the original computer backups will not be visible in WD Backup. WD backup restore from another computer must be done during the initial set up wizard. If the WD Backup software is already installed then WD Backup must be uninstalled. WebbI am a dumbass.
